As one of the oldest health plans in the county, we have perfected the art of customer service. Our staff of professionals is dedicated to taking care of each and every one of our members. Whenever there’s a health concern, no matter how large or small, we are there for our members. Community Health Group is locally based, so our individualized service is unlike any national insurance company.
Our Member Services Department is available year round, seven days a week, 24 hours a day. In addition to English, our staff speaks Spanish and Vietnamese and uses the language line for all other language translation needs our members may require. All member calls to our company are answered in person and we strive to answer those calls within 10 seconds. We know your time is valuable and we work to assist you in a caring manner.
Since 1982, we have been dedicated to coordinating quality health care in a culturally competent manner to all San Diego residents. We believe it’s important that our physicians, hospitals and members know who we are and that they receive exceptional customer service. Being local means that our employees live and work in the same neighborhoods as many of our members. Our employees are part of the community and serve on many non-profit boards; giving back to the community is important to Community Health Group staff.
